At Montreal Lighting & Hardware we stand behind the products that we sell due to our relationship with our manufacturers and because of our confidence in the quality of their products. We only deal with manufacturers that offer and honour the strongest warranties. If a product does have a defect, Montreal Lighting & Hardware’s obligation is expressly limited to replacement, without charge, or repair at the factory after prior written return authorization has been granted.
Montreal Lighting & Hardware’s obligation under this warranty does not extend beyond the initial cost of the product and accordingly any consequential damages or labor costs arising out of a defect are expressly excluded. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been altered or improperly used. Notice of a defect must be received by Montreal Lighting & Hardware within one (1) year from the date of purchase. All lightbulbs, including those that ship with products, are excluded from this warranty
