The metal ribs that arc above and below the white diffuser gleam in a contemporary gold leaf. A design detail of note is how the rings that hold the wire in place trim the off-white shantung shade in the same luminous. This design has a wonderful 1940s feel reminiscent of Dorothy Draper.
